1. Start with a real use case
A promotion is not a recommendation. A pick needs a specific reader and a specific job: a compact charger for frequent travel, a mesh system for a multi-floor home, or a kitchen tool that replaces several awkward steps.
We reject products that depend on vague superlatives, confusing variants, unsupported health claims, or a promotion large enough to distract from a weak fit.
2. Use approved commerce sources
Amazon product identity comes from an approved source such as a manually created SiteStripe link, used according to the Associates terms, or Amazon’s Creators API when that account is connected. We do not scrape Amazon, invent ratings, or create fictional products when a feed is empty.
When an approved live feed is empty, the site says so and keeps the buying guides. An empty product grid is more useful than a polished fiction.
3. Leave offer details on Amazon
Prices, percent-off figures, star ratings, and review counts are not published on this site, including in structured data and social cards. A Creators API response that includes those fields is stripped before render. Amazon remains the source for the current offer, seller, shipping, coupons, and availability.
SiteStripe records older than the link window are not shown as a live product list. We do not refresh their timestamps to make a stale list look current.
4. Add original decision support
Each guide should answer at least three reader questions:
- Who is this for?
- Which specification actually matters for that job?
- What limitation or alternative should a buyer consider?
These pages are desk research from manufacturer specifications and public documentation. We do not imply hands-on testing. A title that says “best” is limited to that stated spec fit.
5. Keep money and judgment in separate lanes
Affiliate compensation can affect which retailers we can link. It does not turn a weak item into an editorial pick. Amazon links are labeled, tagged, and marked as sponsored. Read the editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.
6. Correct visibly
If a product link reaches the wrong destination, the record is paused. Material editorial corrections show up in the page’s updated date.
